2 Kisii-region pastors suspended by AIC

The suspension of two pastors from Kisii was announced by the Africa Inland Church (AIC) on Sunday without providing any explanation.

Ben Musyoka and Joseph Moindi are the names of the two pastors that Johnsilas Makworo AIC’s administrative secretary in Kisii announced in a newspaper advertisement.

The two pastors were informed by AIC that they were no longer permitted to do any business under the authority of or on behalf of AIC, Gusii Area.

The Church gave no explanation for the suspension of the pastors or how long it would last.

AIC was established by the Africa Inland Mission (AIM) in 1895, making it one of the nation’s oldest churches.

Bishop Abraham Mulwa is the current leader of the Church, which was founded in Kangundo, Machakos County, but later transferred its headquarters to Kijabe, Kiambu County, in 1903.

There are hundreds of thousands of worshipers in over 5,000 AIC churches across the nation, according to AIM.

AIC engages in different forms of ministry, such as medical, teaching, theological education, and children’s work, in addition to gospel preaching.
