Kenyan doctor drugged then stolen Ksh.100,00 after landing at JKIA

An unidentified man took about Ksh100,000 and other personal goods from a Kenyan doctor shortly after she landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday. She is the latest victim of an unbelievable occurrence.

We were able to obtain a police report that stated that the woman who had traveled to India for her studies returned to Kenya at roughly nine in the morning.

The 26-year-old was then waiting to board a public vehicle to travel to her rural home in Egesa, Kisii County, after taking a plane from JKIA to Kisumu.

But just before boarding the aircraft to Kisumu, she decided to swap the Indian rupee for Kenyan money.

She was approached and greeted by an unidentified person wearing a cap and face mask during the amount’s confirmation.

That was the last thing she recalled, the report said, until she fainted a few moments later.

A few hours later, the 26-year-old student was found unconscious and bewildered on the road in Narok town, across from Olentimama Stadium.

She had lost Ksh100,000 in cash as well as other personal items that were put into two luggage, totaling roughly Ksh150,000, according to the report.

People had gathered around her, attempting to learn her identity and her family’s contact information.

Instead, they made contact with the Narok Police Station police officers, who responded quickly to the situation, and took her to the Narok County Referral Hospital, where she received medical attention.

Since then, detectives have been working to locate the unidentified male suspect who rendered the female doctor unconscious and caused her to lose her belongings.
