KMTC Delays Application Process for September 2023 Intake; Students to Wait Longer

Students who desire to enroll at the Kenya Medical Training College will be required to submit their applications later.

This is in response to the college’s announcement that applications for the September 2023 intake were not yet available.

In a notice posted on the college’s website, KMTC CEO Kelly Oluoch explained that the change is intended to streamline the admissions procedure.

According to a statement by Mr. Oluoch, the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is taking steps to improve the efficiency of their admission process based on feedback from various stakeholders. The institution has been actively collaborating with like-minded organizations to bolster their capabilities in student selection and placement.

As of now, the applications for the KMTC September 2023 intake have not been opened, and consequently, the selection and placement process has not yet commenced. Prospective students are advised to stay informed and await further updates regarding the application process.

Mr. Oluoch emphasized the college’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and fair admission process. The implementation of valuable feedback and strategic partnerships with organizations aligned with their vision demonstrates KMTC’s dedication to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of their admission procedures.

Oluoch advised those interested to wait for the college to announce the official opening of the application portal within the next few days.

KMTC is a state corporation that was established under the Ministry of Health by a parliamentary act.

It has been entrusted with the responsibility of training diverse disciplines in the health sector in order to serve the interests of Kenya, East Africa, and beyond.

The university has 72 campuses strategically located in different regions of the country.

More than 85 percent of the local middle-level health care workforce in Kenya is comprised of graduates of the college.

The function of KMTC as a centre of excellence for health worker training is essential to the government’s efforts to improve the country’s healthcare system.

  1. KMTC IS THE MOST CORRUPT ENTITY WHEN IT COMES TO ADMISSIONS. THIS SHOULD BE LEFT TO KUCCPS. WE NEED FAIRNESS IN ADMISSIONS. ALL ADMISSIONS TO COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ARE CURRENTLY DONE BY KUCCPS, INCLUDING TTCs. KMTC IS NOT AN EXCEPTION.
