“The National Social Security Fund has service delivery points spread across the country and is seeking to enhance the capacity of its human resource to achieve its obligations of service delivery to all Kenyans,” the notice states.

“The Fund seeks to recruit experienced and energetic Kenyans to fill these vacancies from the positions.”

Principal officer (78), branch manager (19), senior principal officer (28), accountant (24), security officer (2), records officer (2), regional manager (six), assistant manager (19), and management trainees (46), among others, are some of the roles.

By December 11, 2023, interested parties are urged to turn in their curriculum vitae at Social Security offices.

According to data from the October–December 2022 Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Quarterly Labour Force report, which was published in February, the country’s unemployment rate decreased to 960,001 (4.9%) in December 2022 from 1,055,816 (5.6%) in the same quarter the previous year.

The government has repeatedly pledged to give young people employment opportunities.

Moses Kuria, Cabinet Secretary for Public Service and Delivery Management, announced last week that his ministry will soon launch the portal for the “Jobo Bila Connection initiative.”

Regardless of background, the portal will assist Kenyans in applying for jobs in the public sector, according to the CS.
