President Ruto to attend a three-day forum in China.

William Ruto, the president, is scheduled to fly to China for a three-day Belt and Road Initiative summit.

To discuss issues of mutual benefit and collaboration, the President will undertake bilateral discussions with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, and other international leaders.

Statehouse Spokesperson Hussein Mohammed said in a statement on Saturday that ERuto will give a keynote talk at the High-Level Forum with the title “Digital Economy as a New Source of Growth,” showcasing Kenya’s advances in information and communication technology (ICT) and innovation.

The President will also take part in a roundtable of Kenyan and Chinese investors to highlight Kenya’s status as a hub for Chinese investment and to create alliances that will be advantageous to the people of both countries.
