Jane Waithera, a 33-year-old single mother, is still dealing with feelings of betrayal.

Waithera, distraught, describes arriving in Kenya from Saudi Arabia only to realize that her mother had squandered the Sh400,000 she had entrusted to her.

Ms Waithera stated that she learned about the possibility in Saudi Arabia from a friend who connected her to an agent in 2019.

This is not the first as even cases of siblings being entrusted with money from their people working abroad has surfaced.

A shocker story was that of a woman working in Saudi for over 6 years and to come back home and find out she had saved nothing as the money she had entrusted to her own daughter had been wasted.
